Hey guys. i have my old nokia 9300 with everything that came with it except the cd witch had nokia pc suite witch you can get off the internet and the headset witch was crap anyway. The phone does show ware. the screen is scrached but still works. Somehow, a peace of hair got in the inner lcd of the phone, witch is the lcd witch faces the keyboard. but both screens are functional. I will also give you the licence key to talks so encase you upgrade the device you can keep talks because i do not use it anymore. there is no personal files on the phone. i have deleted them. everything has been restored to factory defaults. My asking price is 150 dollars considering the condition of the phone and considering the phone is 2 years old with ware on it. now, there is no sim card on the phone. it is a tri band gsm phone. go to www.phonescoop.com and it will give you the correct specs on the phone. it is a nice phone for the price. i think 150 us dollars is a nice price for an accessible phone. Please note: my method of payment is paypal. it is easier for both parties this way.

oh crap, i should mention that is locked to cingular... unless if the sim card does that. sorry, just had to throw that in. it should work nicely on other gsm networks as well. i'm not 100 percent if the phone is locked or the sim card is. sorry about that.

oh yeah, the version of talks on the phone is 3.00.5 and i should mention to you that talks does not work with the internet browser that is on the phone. but you can hook it to your laptop and use the phone as a wireless modem. this phone is not a 3g phone and the speed of the internet is like dial up.

hi dj austin. not intrested here, but a quick question about where you got the phone from as to whether it's unlocked or not. did you get it from a network provider? if so, it's likely to be locked, if you got it from a website, or from a talks dealer, who mostly deal with unlocked phones, it is most likely unlocked.
Hey there. I'm very interested in the phone. I'm not into texting or using phones for the net etc and I'm a total so the screen doesn't matter to me, but how's the battery life? Also, is this a tiny phone where you can't feel the numbers etc or is it a decent size. So many phones today are way too small for my liking and are needlessly complicated. Are there any other things that are inaccessible that I should know about. Btw, great asking price. Also, I have T Mobile, so need to check if it'll work with my service.
the battery life is excelent. You can feel the numbers varry well. the phone is on the big side. i bought the phone from ATNT. so i think it is locked to ATNT. I'm sure if you took it to t-mobile maybe they can unlock it for you. the best thing for you to do is call them and ask them if they can do that. I will sell it to you if you are 1000 percent sure it will work on your carier. if you have a paypal acount everything will be straight. so if you want to buy it just email me at austingrace134@hotmail.com with your paypal email address and your postal address and i will mail it out as soon as i can.
I do not know how to transfer a talks licence. if anyone knows feel free to post. I wonder if you can?
I hope you can. that would be great. if not, it's ok. i will still give the licence number to whoever buys the phone.
also, when i ship the phone, the battery will be out of the phone. to save the battery life. but the battery is easy to install. For me, the sim card is easy to install but you may want to take it to your phone company and have them put in the sim.
I am going to include a cd with the latest pc suite on it and the talks licence key.
i will also make an mp3 file of how to install the battery on the phone just for good measure. and what it sounds like when you turn it on and things like this.

Ooh, this sounds really sweet and the price can't be beat. I'm gonna check hopefully tomorrow with T Mobile and see if it'll work with them. Don't hold out for me, but I will say that I'm leaning towards yes. I've been looking for an accessible phone for awhile and the T Mobile stores don't carry anything that works with Talks. it's all on special order, so you can't even see the phones in the stores. There were one or two phones that I was considering, but they all sold for about $400 or more on ebay.
Didn't forget about the phone, but didn't get a chance to call. Just wanted to let you know.

hey all. believe it or not a month later, this phone is still on the open for sail list. so please get back to me. it is locked to atnt. i found out. i borrowed a friends t mobile sim card and it did not work... so if you have atnt or know how to unlock it let me know. i'll sell it to you :).

well, i hate to say this but i can't move it to altell. altell used cdma. this phone used gsm. sorry about that man.
well if altell completes the merge they're working on i might be able to expand that
